Keeping Children Safe in our Church Buildings

Parents, don't assume that just because your kids are in the church building, they are safe. This is a sobering story that has me thinking about times my kids were in the hall when I was somewhere with some adults, even just chatting after a ward something-or-another.

  1. Thank you for posting this. I've been talking to "deaf" people most of my life as I remind them to watch their precious little ones. The first two times I was molested, it took place in church restrooms. I was four years old the first time, and eight the second time. It's so important to keep our children safe.

  2. Samantha, thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear about your horrible experiences. I hope that we as parents can be careful not to get too comfortable thinking it would never happen to our children, or in our city, or in our church building....
